Description:

Basic Purpose

  • Executes marketing-related functions with a high degree of organization, time management and confidentiality and provides support to the Sales Team to facilitate the Company’s strategic growth plans.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities/Competencies

  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of corporate websites for all FWS companies and project content
  • Assists with the development of an FWS “intranet” for purposes of internal communication, education and facilitation of daily business requirements
  • Coordinates print media (advertisements, exhibits and displays, signage, educational material, brochures, logos, business publications, monthly bulletins, etc.)
  • Prepares routine correspondence, presentations and documentation with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Develops, communicates and oversees a recognized corporate standard to deal with the format and appearance of all communications
  • Executes media campaigns, promotions and projects, and publication placements
  • May attend trade shows & coordinate special events, projects and mailings
  • Travel co-ordination, booking accommodations, and scheduling meetings

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity in all business interactions and strives to meet customer needs in a creative and safe manner
  • Pleasant demeanour, with an ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks while working within a team environment
  • Formal training/education in Marketing or related field is required & Advanced-level knowledge of social media
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in Graphic Design is an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook is required.  Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects and Adobe Acrobat is beneficial
  • Must possess a high level of organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal & external clients
  • Appropriate level of experience in Administrative functions
  • Commitment to ongoing learning opportunities

Other Information

  • Will be required to attend after hours Company functions, exhibits/tradeshows, meetings, etc
  • May travel to worksites, tradeshows and client offices
