As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive traffic, increase search visibility, and build brand awareness by implementing best practices for SEO, SEM, email marketing, social marketing, content marketing, website content management, analytics, reporting, and other digital marketing strategies. 

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall management and execution of the email and digital marketing calendars, including briefing, testing plans, and prioritization process
  • Develop a best in class program and participate in email marketing community
  • Actively participate in the technical set up & execution of our email automation plans and our digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms
  • Use customer data to create audience segments and to personalize the email  and digital experience and messaging
  • Improve core KPIs: revenue, open rate, click rate, traffic, conversion rate, deliverability, opt-out rate, as well as specific business goals around individual campaigns
  • Understand CASL and email regulations across all relevant regions and enforce internally
  • Monitor, analyze and tune campaigns to maximize conversions
  • Generate weekly, monthly, yearly reports on overall campaign effectiveness metrics and ROI to internal stakeholders
  • Continue to self-educate on developments within marketing channels
  • Create and manage website content
  • Manage website conversion path development
  • Provide copywriting and photography services, and work with freelance copywriters and photographers
  • Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports on web/online statistics as well as additional customized reports as required
  • Implement SEO best practices and research findings, improve rankings for specific keywords and keyword groups, and increase in organic traffic
  • Manage all SEO initiatives including keyword research, content recommendations and website optimization
  • Perform website audits and translate technical findings into meaningful and actionable insights
  • Implement SEO strategies including on page optimization, content creation and link building to improve search visibility
  • Share a deep understanding of SEO's value to the overall marketing strategy with the team
  • Keep up to date on digital marketing trends and share them with the team

Qualifications

Communicating and working in a fast-paced environment comes quickly to you.  You also possess the following:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in:
    • website content management of large commercial websites
    • email marketing
    • digital marketing experience
    • SEO, including keyword research, link building strategies, and tactical implementation
    • copywriting and photography
  • Experience optimizing website conversion paths
  • Strong understanding of best in class email marketing, new tools and software
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with social media marketing platforms and tools
  • Progressive work experience with email service providers/automation programs, as well as analytics tools
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with ability to convert complex data into actionable strategy and tactics; ability to anticipate future trends and implications
  • Experience working with CRM systems, data segmentation, and data base marketing
  • Keen eye for quality creative and content, with an intense attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects effectively, both reactively and proactively
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office, along with marketing platforms, Google Analytics, Adwords, Search Console, SEM Rush, Hootsuite
