Description:

We are looking for a Customer Communications Manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting directly to the Chief Experience Officer, you will be responsible for creating relevant and timely messages/content for our customers and building a variety of communications programs to keep customers informed and engaged, increase customer satisfaction and enhance the overall customer experience. Relying on your expertise and creativity, you will create and deliver customer communications and programs about our products, services and company, support internal business units with customer communications and plan and lead IntraGrain’s social media and website strategies. 

What will you be doing?

  • Managing the creation, editing, approval and delivery of customer communications
  • Collaborating with other departments on specific customer communications needs
  • Developing and executing communications plans with a detailed understanding of project objectives, value, and priority
  • Participating in release planning and product launches, recommending communication best practices
  • Recommending new approaches for customer communication, including new messaging, new email templates, or strategic changes to delivery methods
  • Guiding the company’s approach to writing communications through appropriate voice and persona
  • Managing customer communications tools including CRM and Dealer Portal
  • Developing and executing social media strategy for product brands, establishing metrics and growing customer engagement
  • Managing day-to-day social media activities and creating engaging content, including graphics
  • Developing and managing website content for product microsites
  • Driving website traffic through paid and unpaid advertising efforts and SEO optimization
  • Managing email marketing, including the drafting and delivery of customer communications
  • Establishing and monitoring social media and website metrics and creating monthly reports

 

What skills will you have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English or a combination of related education and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant communications experience
  • Enhanced writing ability, including understanding of the Canadian Press Style Guide
  • Demonstrated ability to develop communication plans and strategies, advising internal stakeholders on communications best practices
  • Proven track record of developing social media strategies, plans and online content
  • Experience with Google Analytics, web content management platforms and social media tools and monitoring
  • Experience with CRM, customer databases and email marketing
  • Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
