Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for general maintenance, painting and cleaning for the facility site, buildings and infrastructure.
The Maintenance Worker will perform light repairs to exterior buildings and interior office complex. Clean entrance ways, sidewalks, rain gutters as well as maintain yard, grounds and drives in pristine condition. Paint exterior trim work, concrete floors and equipment in milling facility. Additionally the Maintenance Worker will provide support to other members on the maintenance team and other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work in a grain processing environment on elevated platforms and ladders where necessary. Previous experience with painting, drywall and general building maintenance would be considered an asset.
The Maintenance Worker must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be capable of lifting and stacking 50 lbs. Candidate should possess basic computer and problem solving skills. Previous experience with running forklifts, skid steer loaders, and front end loaders is an asset.
