Overview of the Position

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for the coordination and execution of Princess Auto’s social media marketing campaigns. You will use your creativity, expertise and knowledge of social media best practices to deploy unique and fun content designed to engage current and future customers and champion our brand.   

A typical day will be spent working collaboratively with other content marketing teams to plan and deliver on the social media calendar. You will advocate for the use of social tactics in support of marketing objectives, and recommend the ideal mix of platforms, content schedule, and ad spend. You will use a variety of analytics platforms to optimize and report on campaign performance and ensure relevant content is reaching the target audience.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have 3 year’s experience in a marketing role, with a focus on social media campaigns
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and conversationally
  • Be well-versed in and competent using common social media platforms and be in touch with emerging social trends
  • French/English bilingualism will be considered an asset
