We are currently seeking a Branch Manager, Distribution who will assist us at our Saskatoon Distribution Centre located at 1502 Quebec Avenue.


Oversee the efficient and effective transportation, distribution and furniture repair activities of a satellite warehouse under the direction of a Regional Distribution Center Manager through planning, organizing and directing local activities and staff.


  • The timely and accurate receipt, storage, assembly and delivery of all products.
  • Ensure that team members are adequately resourced, equipped, focused and trained to accomplish their tasks in the most effective and efficient manner.
  • Overall responsibility for staffing to workflow
  • Coordinate delivery capacity with Delivery Planning to satisfy delivery requirements.
  • Maintain customer relationships consistent with corporate policy and expectations..
  • Repair of furniture through the effective utilization of “In Home Specialists” and “In Shop Technicians”, as required.
  • Assist in the preparation, administer and maintain control of DTR budgets.
  • Monitor and maintain metrics for all activities as required.
  • Management of 3rd party service arrangements
  • Facilities maintenance and management.
  • Operational compliance of all legislative or regulatory acts governing the delivery and handling of furniture.
  • Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules


  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on business or materials management plus four or more years of experience working in a warehouse and transportation or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of senior management experience in warehouse/transportation environment.
  • An exposure to furniture repair activities a distinct advantage.
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to problem solve
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
  • Demonstrates the company’s Core and Leadership competencies


  • Ability to work off scheduled shifts as may be required
  • Physically capable of assisting in the workforce as required
  • Criminal Check required
