Reliability Specialist, Oilseed Processing Lethbridge AB        Competition #

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this position will provide expertise and technical support to maintain and improve reliability of systems in the plant.


  • Data gathering, failure analysis, troubleshooting and development of predictive/preventative maintenance programs for equipment
  • Assist in review of future equipment replacements
  • Work with Maintenance and Process Supervisors to maintain performance of equipment
  • Back up for Maintenance Supervisor for supervision of plant maintenance personnel and contractors
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of maintenance procedures to meet customer requirements
  • Communication of performance standards and feedback on individual and business performance results
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend method of repair for plant equipment
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a Food Manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance Reliability Process
  • Proven experience leading RCM and RCA analysis as facilitator
  • Training and knowledge of management of proactive maintenance model
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, CMMS and MS Project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work with little supervision
