We are looking for an individual to join our Winnipeg head office Human Resources team.
This position will provide administrative support in human resources with a strong focus on pension & benefit information processing.
This position is responsible for processing pension and benefit new-hire enrollments, changes and terminations; maintaining the HR database; preparing and reconciling pension & benefit remittances; following up on data as it relates pension & benefits; responding to pension and benefit inquiries from employees and service providers. Assisting with implementation of various HR, Pension & Benefits projects.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in human resources with a focus on benefits and pension administration, preferably with knowledge of flex benefit plans and Defined Benefit pension plans. Superior attention to detail and skill at data reconciliation are important, as is a strong sense for HR excellence and the ability to work effectively within a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and HRIS data entry is required. Experience in unionized environment and knowledge of payroll and accounting relating to benefits and pension would be an asset.
