Job Description

TransX has an exciting opportunity for a (part time) Order Picker Lead Hand in our New Westminster facility. The Order Picker Lead Hand is responsible for leading a group of Pickers, unloading freight trailers, building orders and maintaining productivity standards.

Duties include, but are not limited to: preparing incoming and outgoing shipments, sorting cases, piece counts and processing shortages and damaged goods.

Flexible availability is essential as inbound arrival times are variable.

A typical shift is Saturday to Wednesday, starting at 9 am, averaging approximately 30 hours a week.



The successful candidate will be a high performing and self motivated individual who wants to build their career in the Transportation industry.  An ideal candidate would be one that:

• is hands-on and leads people by example
• is conscientious about their work and thrives on continuous improvement and implementing process
• can adapt quickly to change and would like to join a company that promotes the professional growth of its employees
• has sufficient relevant work experience and is able to effectively lead a small warehouse team
• has some degree of technical computer savvy

Experience with a forklift is an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
