Job Description

TransX has an exciting opportunity for an Alberta Trailer Planner in our Calgary terminal.  Reporting to the Intra Alberta Supervisor, the Trailer Planner is responsible for managing the Alberta trailers.  Duties include but are not limited to; updating information into the system, communicating with customers, managing equipment, ensuring the trailers meet the requirements upon arrival, etc.



The successful candidate will be a motivated, team player, who thrives on meeting tight deadlines, has a minimum of 2 years experience in the Transportation industry, along with the following skills and abilities:

  • Passion for customer service
  • Experience with Microsoft programs (Excel)
  • Ability to forecast freight volumes, timelines and balance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail orientated
  • Strong problem solving skills
