BS, MS or PhD and 10+ years of education and experience.
To support assessment of domestic and foreign technology / systems and components associated with operational requirements for counter-IED systems. Direct support to include analysis under the framework of Technical Exploitation activities in support of US DoD JIEDDO, technical gaming, model development, countermeasures development and threat assessment.
Technical disciplines involved in these efforts may include intelligence analysis; radio frequency (RF) systems, transmitter/receiver technology, high/power amplifier, receiver/signal processing, and circuit design/analysis; sensor systems; detector systems; telemetry; datalinks and networked systems; electromagnetic analysis; propagation and environmental effects; electro-optical and electrical systems; RF, electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) countermeasures; and analysis and development in military applications including accessibility / vulnerability analysis. Skills in modeling and simulation and MATLAB are a plus. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead projects and tasks, execute against tight deadlines, write comprehensive reports capturing observations, technical details and operational impact, and make technical presentations.
