Forthright Properties is seeking a Marketing & Design Assistant to support our Assistant Manager, Marketing. This role blends creativity with coordination, you’ll help manage marketing projects, oversee signage installations, liaise with vendors, and assist with photography and content creation. We need someone who can stay organized, pay close attention to details, and confidently handle both numbers and visuals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Marketing Specialist on marketing and leasing projects.
  • Contact and follow up with vendors for printing, signage, promotional items, and advertising.
  • Arrange, coordinate, and oversee signage installations, ensuring correct sizing and placement.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for marketing projects, signage, and vendor services.
  • Perform calculations for signage dimensions, layouts, and property marketing materials.
  • Capture high-quality property and event photos for marketing use.
  • Monitor and manage marketing-related emails daily, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Assist in preparing, proofreading, and distributing marketing content (emails, newsletters, social posts, listings).
  • Help manage property websites and online listings (Entrata, Webflow, Facebook Marketplace, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Track promotions, unit pricing, and availability to ensure accuracy across platforms.
  • Compile and maintain reports in Excel, supporting leasing and marketing audits.
  • Support events, community engagement initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Portfolio required: Applicants must provide samples of photography, design, or marketing work to be considered.
  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with photography (camera or high-end smartphone) and basic editing skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and design tools skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of tasks, as well as collaborate with a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong follow-up and vendor co-ordination abilities.
  • Strong ability to calculate measurements, layouts, and review quotes with accuracy.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (Entrata) or website platforms (WordPress, Webflow) is considered an asset.
