Are you looking for a unique engineering management career? Crestline is seeking a professional, experienced Engineer to join our team. In this role you would have the opportunity to lead a design engineering team and ensure that production is provided with robust designs and accurate drawings. This position has an emphasis on leading the rest of the design engineering team to balance workload and help with training.
-Instilling a "Best Practices" approach to the department design environment
-Managing and tracking multiple projects and their outcomes
-Involvement in bid/no bid decisions with sales and production, and help with the development of full product costing
-Working with team to highlight and set goals to improve product offerings
The successful candidate will have:
-Mechanical Engineering Degree (P.Eng. preferred)
-Experience in a manufacturing environment
-Knowledge of design technology, techniques, tools and principles
-Time and Project Management
-Practical experience in three or more of the following would be an asset: CAD/CAM, databases, design, automotive or manufacturing environment and/or fabrication and carpentry
-Strong troubleshooting skills
