Description:

Job Requirements/qualifications:

  • Language Level CLB Level 6 or IELTS 5.5/5/5.5/5.5
  • Bachelor degree from a 4-year college or university in a related specialty such as refrigeration, air conditioning repair or equipment engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications and operate related equipment.
  • Must be available to work shifts and willing to work outside at night.
  • English essential, capable of speaking Mandarin is an asset.

Job Certifications, licensing or registration requirements:

  • None required.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Understand the specifications related to the air conditioning equipment & ventilation systems
  • Conduct maintenance service as well as installation of appliances
  • Install the ventilation systems of central air conditioning, including pipe sites, checking the integrity of drains, and processing indoor wires.
  • Carry out mechanical tests and analysis of machines, components and materials of ventilation systems; prepare precautionary measures against underlying failures.
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing AC units and take charge of replacing parts for the old air conditioning equipment and ventilation systems.
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Perform routine accessory examination and update works based on instructions and all safety protocols.
  • Participate in general equipment inspections especially in ventilation systems based on customer requirements and present an appliance evaluation.
  • May assist colleagues to conduct other assignments within our business field as required.
