Job Requirements/qualifications:

  • Language Level CLB Level 6 or IELTS 5.5/5/5.5/5.5
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or completion of college courses in electronics required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience using the tools and practices used in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.
  • Must be available to work shifts and willing to work outside at night.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English, speaking Mandarin is an asset.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide installing and repair services to household equipment including televisions and cameras, etc.
  • Initiate electrical appliance after assembling, including but not limited to examining the circuits and conducting circuit board debugging or changing its location if needed.
  • Troubleshoot technical errors for television and camera; take charge of replacing parts including removal and reinstallation of wiring and generate precautionary measure plans against electrical malfunctions.
  • Conduct electrical appliance replacement, for example, circuit modification and old television replacement.
  • Use a multimeter, oscilloscope, and other electronic instruments to debug a circuit as stated in the description of the equipment handbook.
  • Liaise with customers to respond to their technical faults; record and complete orders and summarize maintenance items, fault symptoms, as well as repair measures to generate reports to the supervisor.
  • May provide on-site guidance to colleagues and perform other related work as assigned.
