The human resource division is organized into three main areas: Organization & Employee Development, Employment & Diversity, and Compensation & Benefits.
Organization & Employee Development:
o Positions within this area provide guidance and input to strategy, business direction, and operational plans in the OD areas of leadership development, change management, performance management, training and development, succession and talent management, career planning, organizational structure and systems, HR systems analysis, employee engagement and internal communication. Examples of positions found within this area include: Corporate Trainer, Training and Development Specialist, Organizational and Employee Development Coordinator.
Employment & Diversity:
o Positions within this area provide guidance and input to business direction and operational plans in the areas of employee recruitment, new employee orientation, diversity, and employee relations. This area engages with management to analyze talent needs for recruitment initiatives and activities to ensure the credit union has effective talent in place . Examples of positions found within this area include: Manager, Employment & Diversity, Employment Specialist, and Employment Coordinator.
Compensation & Benefits:
o Positions within the compensation area manage payroll for the organization, along with generating reports and administering sick time, overtime, vacation, leaves and all applicable deductions. On the benefits side, positions manage the credit union’s benefit programs including short-term and long-term disability, dental, medical and health spending. Examples of positions found within this area include: Benefits Administrator, Payroll Administrator, and Manager, Compensation & Benefits.
