Job Description

TransX has an exciting opportunity for a Welder in our Winnipeg head office maintenance facility. 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: general building maintenance (painting, forklift driving, cleaning, etc.), welding and equipment repairs.

The shift is Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm.

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a motivated and conscientious team player capable of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Welding
  • A high school diploma

Along with following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take action quickly and work under tight deadlines
  • Detail orientated
  • Fluent in English
