We have an opening for 1 Millwrights at our unionized bulk grain handling facility located in the port of Vancouver.

 

MILLWRIGHT

 

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for general Millwright duties including the repair and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic controls, fitting of belts, fabrication and replacement of equipment and parts. In addition, you will establish and implement preventative and corrective operational maintenance activities. 

 The successful candidate will possess a Journeyman Millwright Certificate or Inter-provincial certification under the Red Seal Program with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment.  Additional attributes include demonstrated organizational skills and personal initiative; strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; and must be willing to work overtime, shift work, scheduled shutdowns and respond to Emergency Call-Ins.

 Candidates may be asked to participate in competency examinations and/or skill tests to assist in determining required qualifications.
