Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and strong inside sales professionals to join our already successful sales force in Calgary, whilst working in a dynamic, friendly and supportive environment.

The candidate will be expected to provide customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Initiates and /or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are maintained. Prepare customer service summary reports and co-ordinate the handling of difficult and/or unusual situations. 

Core Functions:

  • Allow sales representatives to remain on the road and gain new business by acting as inside sales support
  • Gain an understanding of the business – history, language, and network.
  • Provide information about companies
  • Answers customer inquires/communications as required
  • Provides activity/statistical summary reports each week to Sales Manager
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Recording conference calls through meeting minutes
  • Requesting rates for proposed business
  • Navigation of computer systems – HOST, CRM
  • Ability to track and trace multiple customers load tenders and keep detailed reports, which is reported back to the sales manager
  • Organize potential client’s information
  • Using Microsoft office to create forms, spreadsheets, and other documents
  • Responsible for sales administrative documentation, process and coordination
  • Responsible for keeping lines of communication open between departments
  • Facilitates the collection of competitive information in order to monitor business trends and opportunities
  • Other duties provided by manager.
