We are currently seeking a Temporary Junior Graphic Designer I for our Home Office located at 116 Nature Park Way, Winnipeg MB.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the production, design and layout of marketing material used to increase customer traffic and to reinforce the identity of the organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design a variety of print and online materials for advertising; including ads, direct mail pieces, flyers, brochures, web & TV graphics, posters & banners.
  • Prepare files for press-ready or web-ready production.
  • Ensure consistency in company publications by adhering to graphic standards.
  • Meet specific deadlines of projects.
  • Maintain, coordinate & distribute graphic resources; including images, logos & photography
  • Track time & records

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in graphic design
  • Strong attention to detail in a production art environment
  • Creative, with strong sense of design, colour, typography & attention to detail
  • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Office programs in a Mac based environment
  • Extensive knowledge of pre-press, digital imaging and file composition
  • Team player & open to feedback
  • Strong design management & organizational skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates the company’s Core competencies
